الرئيسية /Product/TPU Film
TPU film — thermoplastic polyurethane film — is a flexible, non-porous polymer sheet with no woven or knitted base fabric behind it. TPU coated fabric pairs a TPU layer with a nylon or polyester substrate; TPU film stands on its own as a continuous membrane, supplied in roll form at thicknesses from a few microns up to several hundred microns depending on the application.
The alternating hard and soft segments in the polymer structure give TPU film its elasticity, weldability, and resistance to cracking. PVC and PET film don’t have this — they’re rigid and brittle by comparison. That’s the reason TPU film material shows up so often in industries where flexibility, clarity, and long-term durability all matter at the same time: medical device bladders, optical-grade protective layers, outdoor equipment.
Production runs through one of two routes. TPU film extrusion melts the polymer and casts or blows it into continuous sheet form. TPU film lamination bonds the film to another substrate for composite builds. Each process changes the final film’s clarity, thickness consistency, and weldability — the specs a converter or manufacturer actually cares about when sourcing TPU film rolls.

Optical Grade Films
Engineered for applications where absolute clarity is critical. This film series features extremely low haze and ultra-high light transmittance, ensuring zero loss or distortion of image, color, or brightness when viewed through the film.
Crystal Clear
Zero Optical Distortion
High Light Transmittance
Typical Application: Medical Imaging

UV Resistant Films
Engineered to withstand long-term UV exposure, this film series offers superior resistance to yellowing. It ensures the material maintains its original clarity and appearance in outdoor applications, while effectively protecting the underlying substrate from sun damage.
Superior Non-Yellowing
Long-Term Outdoor Durability
Substrate Protection
Typical Application: Outdoor Equipment and Furniture

Medical Grade Films
Specifically created for medical applications involving direct or indirect patient contact. This film series is pure, non-toxic, and complies with ISO 10993 biocompatibility standards, offering excellent barrier and welding properties to ensure the safety and sterility of medical products.
ISO 10993 Certified
High Purity & Non-Toxic
Excellent Gas Barrier
Typical Application: Medical Device Bladders, IV Solution Bags

This is the category for jobs where visual clarity is non-negotiable. Clear TPU film and transparent TPU film in this line are built for low haze and high light transmittance, so whatever sits behind the film — a display, a medical sample, a printed layer — stays undistorted.
What sets it apart:
Typical fit: medical imaging components, optical windows, and any build where a flexible transparent TPU film has to keep its clarity through repeated handling or sterilization.
Standard plastic films break down under sun exposure — they yellow, go brittle, lose strength. UV resistant TPU film is formulated to hold up under long-term outdoor exposure, and it outperforms PVC or PET film here by a wide margin.
Where it gets used:
Polyether TPU film formulations are built mainly for hydrolysis resistance — a different property, but manufacturers often combine both resistance profiles into one formulation for products that face both moisture and sun.
Medical TPU film gets held to a different standard. This tpu medical-grade film series is formulated and tested for biocompatibility, purity, and reliable barrier performance, produced and documented against ISO 10993 biocompatibility standards.
What it’s built for:
Direct or indirect patient contact means batch-to-batch consistency — thickness, purity, weldability — isn’t optional. Every batch of medical-grade TPU film ships with compliance documentation attached.
A different category entirely: TPU hot melt film and TPU adhesive film work as a bonding medium, not a surface layer. Heat activates the film and fuses fabric, leather, or foam together without stitching.
This covers garment TPU film for seam sealing and lamination, TPU film for shoes — leather upper bonding especially — and mattress TPU film used in quilted or laminated bedding builds. These applications flex repeatedly after bonding, so elasticity and bond strength retention over time are what actually determine the right pick.
A few variables decide the right film for a given job:
Xianglong supplies TPU film manufacturers, converters, and product developers with consistent rolls across clear, UV-resistant, and medical-grade formulations, with full customization on thickness, width, and surface finish. As a direct TPU film manufacturer based in China, we handle both bulk roll orders and smaller trial quantities for product development and testing.
A flexible transparent TPU film for optical work, a UV resistant TPU film for outdoor products, a medical-grade TPU film for healthcare devices — each one needs its formulation and processing profile matched to the actual end-use environment. That match is what determines how the film performs once it’s in the field.
